Temps near 100 F and 100% humidity make for some pretty uncomfortable days
Windows Workflow
- Sometimes you have to go beyond the two root models of WF which are Sequential and State. We needed to and ended up using a hybrid of rules driven and state. Matt Winkler has a post with an ungainly title of Different Execution Patterns with WF (or, Going beyond Sequential and State Machine) How do I do this?
- Matt also has Implementing the N of M Pattern in WF
Orcas
- Daniel Moth has a good post describing .NET Framework 3.5 and Brad Abrams continues
CardSpace
- Michele has published her CardSpace CardSpace samples here.
- Very pleased to see Marc Mercuri, co-author of one of the best Indigo books, not only return to blogging with a post on Workflow Activities for Informatioon Card Issuance, but also have a new book Beginning Information Cards and CardSpace: From Novice to Professional
Indigo/WCF
- Speaking of Indigo, we recently ran into this problem that Dr. Nick covers
- Speaking of new Indigo book authors, we have the one and only Michele Bustamente doing a 15 part Web Cast series on Indigo!!!
Software Design/Agile/XP/Castle/Windsor/MonoRail
- Scott Bellware on Dependency Patterns
- Jeremy continues his outstanding series on software design, of which I have learned a lot, with Build your own CAB Part #10 - Unit Testing the UI with NUnitForms. Personally I have not bothered with NUnitForms as I focus on utilizing MVP/MVC to separate out all logic and test it and leave the UI widget testing to Microsoft as its their job but there is something perhaps I could learn here
- Billy has an outstanding post (as usual) on Integrating Castle MonoRail into Legacy Applications
