Lynyrd Skynyrd in Atlantic City
Sue and I finally made it over to Atlantic City (which is only about 40 minutes away) to see Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Borgata Event Center. I was skeptical as the real Lynyrd Skynyrd of my fan time in 1970-78 was so potent. Not only did this version rock they blew the doors off the place! There were huge versions of Call Me The Breeze, Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man, Gimme Three Steps, and of course no one has lived until they have seen Freebird live from 50 feet away from the three guitarists. Great show! And we made it out up $7 in the slots :)
