I complained in the past that my Dual-Core iMac was very slow at 512MB. Leaving aside the question of whether Apple should even sell this system without 1GB in it, I went and bought 2GB and put it in. Wow, it's like a whole new machine! OS/X and Aqua operate the way I would have expected. I guess...
